With Darla dying of the same syphilis that was killing her before she was ever sired, Angel undergoes ritual trials in a demon dimension trying to win her a second chance at a mortal life — a race against time that ends in tragedy. The script carries the "Set / Alexis Denisof / Cast" production sticker on the cover, exactly as it came off set over twenty-five years ago.
